I never set out to run a business, but here I am! 

What began as a small venture helping friends and colleagues has grown through word-of-mouth recommendations from past clients who appreciate my approach.

As the owner of Black Dash, I’m passionate about helping businesses achieve their goals. With years of experience in workplace health, safety and human resources, I’m well-positioned to guide you through the complexities of safety regulations, client expectations and workforce management. My expertise covers everything from system development to contractor management, high-risk work and helping leaders engage effectively with their teams.

Whether working with a large blue-chip company or a small family-owned business, I adapt my approach to fit your challenges and goals. I’m upfront and easy-going, which keeps the process straightforward and stress-free.

When I’m not at work, you’ll usually find me on the farm spending time with my family.

Experience and Approach

My career has been focused on developing practical, hands-on solutions that work in real-world settings. Working as an HR group manager for a company with five locations gave me valuable insight into employee management and workforce challenges.

With over 18 years in the mining sector, including time spent with BHP, I’ve built extensive industry knowledge. Since starting my own consultancy in 2017, I’ve partnered with businesses that work alongside industry leaders like Rio Tinto, Fortescue and Roy Hill.

This experience gives me a unique perspective from HR, WHS and employee viewpoints, allowing me to deliver targeted support that meets your specific needs. My background in HR, combined with my mining experience, enables me to balance productivity with safety effectively.
